Lonely Planet reveals the World’s Top ‘Secret’ Destinations

Lonely Planet are famed for their detailed and inspirational knowledge on the world’s biggest and best destinations, and now they have gone a step further, by revealing the world’s top ‘secret’ destinations

By ‘top secret’, they mean destinations which aren’t necessarily on everyone’s bucket lists, but really should be. For example, Malta took the top spot after being praise for its evolving city and amazing scuba diving opportunities.

Seoul, which came in second place, was highlighted for its amazing food system, winter sports opportunities, hip atmosphere and efficient metro services. Vojvodina in Serbia ranked third, thanks to its rich history, art, outdoor activities and friendly locals.
