TripAdvisor recently asked their users to vote in a poll to determine the best and most beautiful beaches around the world. The results were broken down into three geographical categories; the UK, Europe and the World, then top tens were collated from the votes.

Surprisingly, Rhossili Bay in Swansea actually ranked in the top 10 beaches in the world, beating competition from paradise islands like Hawaii and the Caribbean. This results prove that you don’t need to travel far from home to find a stunning beach, and supports the recent trend of ‘staycations’ in the UK.
