Two UK Hotels Honoured at the Tatler Travel Awards
Every year the Tatler Travel Awards aim to highlight the best available accommodation in the world, across a number of different categories. In the 2015 awards, two English hotels were awarded top prizes, alongside luxury settings such as private islands and stunning villas.
The lucky winners were ‘The Pig on the Beach’ in Studland Bay (Dorset), which was awarded the ‘Feast and Flop’ title for its amazing (and locally sourced) menu, and the ‘Ham Yard Hotel’ in Soho (London), which was awarded the ‘Most Fun Ever’ award for its vintage bowling alley and vibrant decorating.
These fantastic accolades for UK businesses just go to show that you don’t necessarily need to travel abroad to find wonderful hotels and accommodation.
Visit Britain have recently launched a £4 million campaign (with a little help from Shaun the Sheep!) to encourage people to consider staycations, and these award winners are a fantastic example of why you should do just that.
