Travel insurance specialist Holidaysafe.co.uk has been nominated Best Travel Insurance Provider for the second consecutive year at the Consumer Moneyfact Awards 2014.
Last year, Holidaysafe.co.uk won the Highly Commended award in that category. The awards aim to highlight the best financial products available to the public, by combining customer feedback and technical assessments.
Holidaysafe.co.uk brand manager, Amber Howard said: “Last year we were thrilled to be nominated and then delighted to win the Highly Commended award. To receive another nomination for the second year in a row really is testament to the tremendous work of the entire Holidaysafe team to provide great service and affordable products.
“Moneyfacts spend a great deal of time reviewing the travel insurance market and picking a shorlist based on their techincal assessments of each provider’s policies. In the past 12 months, Holidaysafe has bespoked its policy wordings further to offer wider cover for its customers to cater for the modern traveller. This includes extending the limits on its gadget cover; offering those who get hitched abroad cancellation and wedding dress cover; and changing the format of our policies to highlight exclusions and speak to customers in plain English.”
The Moneyfacts Awards highlight the best travel insurance providers for consumers, so the winner of this category will be picked based on both further technical assessments and customer reviews at the awards ceremony in January.
