100th Voyage Celebrations for Cruise Crazy Couple

The moment you find the perfect holiday is hard to top – the accommodation, the food, the entertainment, when everything just clicks into place you know you will be returning year on year. However, one couple from Florida have taken this to the extreme, and have just completed their 100th cruise on the same ship.

Mr Bernard Caffary and Mrs Janie Caffary fell in love with the Carnival Sensation when they first stepped aboard back in 2003, and haven’t looked back. They have since taken 100 voyages on the same ship, with a 90% success rate at getting the same room every time! This means the pensioners have taken an average of 8 cruises per year on the same ship for the last 12 years.

The cruise liner have confirmed that the Caffarys are the most travelled and loyal customers they have experienced in their 43 year history, and decided to celebrate the milestone by throwing the couple an on board party.

When asked why the couple are so fond of the ship, they commented that the family atmosphere, warm staff, plus great food and entertainment keep them coming back year on year.

The Carnival Sensation caters for over 2,000 guests with over 900 staff running the ship. It offers three water slides, a large swimming pool and even a spa! The ship departs from Florida twice a week to sail to the Bahamas and back, for two or five day trips.
