Official Period of Mourning Announced in Thailand

After 70 years as Head of State, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world’s longest reigning monarch, has died peacefully in hospital at the age of 88. Following his death, an official period of mourning has been announced in Thailand, lasting for one year until mid-October 2017.
