Is there a limit to the size of bike I am allowed to ride?
Unlike most travel insurance policies that limit the size of bike to 125cc, Holidaysafe Bikers Travel Insurance will cover you to ride bikes of any size provided that you have a UK licence to ride them in the UK..

Will I be insured to ride off road?
Our motorcycle travel insurance covers you when riding off road provided you are not riding in any area where it is forbidden to ride due to local restrictions.

Is my motorcycling gear covered?
One of the most important features of Holidaysafe Bikers Travel Insurance is that your motorcycling gear, including leathers, boots, gloves and helmet is covered for accidental damage or theft whilst on your trip. However you should note that we will only cover damaged gear if the damage is such that it renders the gear unusable. .

Is there cover for my pillion passenger?
The motorcycle travel insurance provided by Holidaysafe Bikers Travel Insurance covers both rider and pillion passenger provided they have each purchased a policy, (or in the case of a couple, they have paid the couples premium). Please note that in the event of an accident for which you are held liable, whilst you and your pillion will be covered for any medical expenses incurred to treat your injuries, you will not be covered in the event that your pillion decides to sue you for compensation. What if I want to participate in a track day?
For a small additional premium you can extend your motorcycle travel insurance to provide Emergency Medical Expenses when you are participating in a track days..

Will the policy cover me if I injure someone, or damage property when riding my bike?
As with all travel insurance policies, Holidaysafe Bikers Travel Insurance does not provide cover for Third Party Liability when riding a motorcycle. i.e. damage to either the bike or someone else’s vehicle or property, or for any injury to another person).If you are taking your own bike abroad; you must notify your usual motorcycle motor insurance provider so that they can extend your policy. If you are intending to hire a bike whilst you are abroad then ensure that your rental company has the appropriate insurance in place for you.

What do I do if I need medical treatment?
Holidaysafe Bikers Travel Insurance provides cover for emergency medical treatment abroad if you fall ill, or are injured whilst riding your bike during your trip. If you are admitted to hospital as an in-patient then you must contact Emergency Assistance Facilities 24 hour Emergency advice line on +44 (0) 845 260 3 260. You will need to have your policy details and policy number to hand to verify your cover.

Single trip travel insurance

Last Minute Single Trip Travel Insurance If you have your own holiday home abroad, or if you are one of those people who like to ‘pack and dash’ then this policy may well suit, because it recognises that you are unlikely to require cancellation cover and the premium duly reflects this.

Annual multi-trip travel insurance

If you travel more than once a year you may want to consider taking out an annual multi-trip travel insurance, that will cover all of your trips for yourself and your family whether you are motorcycling or not.

You can also choose from the following options regarding levels of cover and premium as you can under the Single Trip Travel Insurance, namely:

Whichever option you choose, there are many advantages to having an annual multi trip travel insurance policy

• You do not have to worry about buying a new policy every time you want to go away
