When does cover start on an Activitysafe single trip policy?
As soon as you purchase one of our policies, the Cancellation section starts. All other covers begin from the moment you leave your home for your holiday until you return home again..
Which countries come under Europe?
Holidaysafe.co.uk split the definition of Europe into:
Europe excluding Spain:
This includes the following countries: all countries west (to the left of) of the Ural Mountains, including the United Kingdom, the Balearic Islands, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, the Azores, Madeira and the Mediterranean islands.
Europe including Spain:
As above but includes Spain and the Canary islands.
What is a pre-existing medical condition?
Any medical condition, serious or recurring, which has previously been diagnosed, investigated or treated in anyway, at any time prior to travel, even if this condition is currently considered to be stable and under control by the use of drugs.
Do the sums inured benefit the whole group or each person?
The Underwriters will pay up to the sum insured listed for each insured person
How do I get medical assistance when I am away?

I do not live in the UK, can I purchase one of your policies?
Our policies are available to anyone who has had their main home in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands and has not spent more than six months abroad in the year before buying this policy.
I am travelling today, can I still buy a policy
Yes, our friendly Customer Services staff can email a copy of your schedule and policy to you. So as long as you have email and a printer available to you, this should not be a problem
