Bizarre Lost and Found Items at Ski Resorts
We can all become a bit forgetful in our relaxed holiday state, and only realise that we may have left something behind when it’s too late. However, a list of the most bizarre items left at ski resorts has recently been released, which is more bizarre than simply glasses and goggles.
Ski resorts have seen a record amount of property lost this season, just from December – January, prompting tour operator Crystal Ski to compile a list of the weird and wonderful items left behind by their customers.
The strange list includes:
- 98 Santa hats
- 17 selfie sticks
- 15 pairs of long Johns
- 13 mankinis
- 12 pairs of ski goggles
- 4 Christmas jumpers
- 3 pairs of spanx
- 2 unwrapped Christmas Presents
- 1 bag of nail polishes
- 1 fire constabulary badge
- 1 flute
- 1 life size Lucy Beal cardboard cut out
- 1 set of dentures
- 1 walking stick
The moral of this story? If you’re planning any sort of holiday always ensure you pack everything, throw away your unwanted rubbish, and leave nothing behind. You should always leave your accommodation in the way you found it, and do a final sweep of all drawers and surfaces before checking out of your room.
Nobody wants 13 homeless mankinis hanging around their ski resort!
The more silly items in the list may have been discarded on purpose, but missing ski equipment, jewellery and electricals can cause serious headaches. For award winning cover in case your ski equipment is lost, stolen, damaged or delayed visit Holidaysafe.
