And the Winner of our EU Referendum Survey Competition is…

Last month we launched an EU Referendum survey, with the aim of discovering how people think a potential Brexit could affect travel through Europe and future holiday plans for Brits. The survey was a great success, with over 3,000 responses to our questions and some very thought-provoking data gathered.

Interestingly, opinions about the Referendums effect on travel were very split, with 44% concerned that leaving the EU would make travel more difficult, compared to 48% who didn’t think it would have an effect.     It is not yet clear what effect a Brexit will have on travel, but we do know that the costs of flights may go up for certain airlines and that the UK will have to renegotiate things like the European Health Insurance card.

On the other hand, an overwhelming 78% said a Brexit would have no effect on their future travel plans, and 61% confirmed that ease of travel through the EU would have no bearing on how they will vote in the upcoming EU Referendum.

As a thank you to everyone who completed the survey, we launched a prize draw to award one lucky participant a £100 John Lewis voucher. I am very happy to announce that our winner is…
