And the Winner of our Term Time Holiday Survey is…
At Holidaysafe we always like to keep up to date with travel trends, so at the beginning of February we asked you guys to complete our Term Time Holiday survey. The aim of our survey was to find out if attitudes towards taking holidays during term time had changed, following the news that Jon Platt’s successful battle against his holiday fine may be overturned by the Supreme Court.
We received hundreds of responses to the survey, and the results were extremely interesting, for example we found that 10% of UK parents would consider moving their children into private education or home schooling to ensure they could have a reasonably priced family holiday, and/or avoid school fines.
Furthermore, 58% of the parents we surveyed felt that a term-time holiday was their only option for an affordable family holiday this year, and a further 28% confirmed that they will be taking their children out of school early for a family holiday this year.
Once again I would just like to thank everyone who took the time to take part on our survey. As a small thank you and token of our appreciation, we entered every respondent into a prize draw to win a £100 John Lewis voucher, and I am very happy to announce that the winner is…
