LowCostHolidays: Important Information for Holidaysafe Customers
As some of you may have seen in the news, Lowcostholidays have gone into liquidation.
If you have booked your holiday through Lowcostholidays, don’t panic, here is our advice:
- Check with your travel provider or airline to determine if your flight seats remain available
- Check with your booked accommodation to determine if your booking is secure
- If you are in any doubt, we recommend contacting your local Citizen’s Advice Service or Trading Standards Department
- If you paid for your holiday via debit or credit card, we advise checking with your card provider for cover
If you have booked a Holidaysafe Single Trip policy
We are more than happy to move the dates of your insurance policy to dates later in 2016 for any trips you may book following the loss of the current holiday.
If you have a Holidaysafe Multi Trip policy
If you would like to make a claim for cancellation, then please see our claims page. Cover will remain in place for any trips you wish to take for the duration of your policy.
If you purchased the Trip Disruption or End Supplier Insolvency Extension
This extension will only be able to provide cover in the event that you have not been able to recover the costs by any other means.
Please ensure that you have all receipts, invoices and bank statements to show proof of purchase upon submitting a claim.
If you wish to cancel your policy altogether
We are willing to offer a 50% refund on all policy cancellations.
Please note, Holidaysafe's online prices automatically include a 15% discount against our Customer Service Centre prices.
