Couple Quit Jobs to Indulge and Spread Wanderlust
Chanel Cartwell (31) and her partner Stevo Dirnberger (30) from South Africa both quit their high flying careers back in 2015 to travel the world. Since they left home, the couple has visited 15 countries and 49 cites, but still have over 60 things on their ever growing bucket list.
The couple, who have grown in popularity thanks to their stunning Instagram account, have documented their journey with some aw-inspiring travel photos, and recently the Daily Mail spoke to them to discover their favourite destinations.
Their top spots included Bavaria in Germany, Victoria Falls in Zambia, Sossusvlei in Namibia, Lago Di Braies in Italy, Benagil Cave in Portugal, Antelope Canyon in Arizona, Yosemite National Park in California, the ‘floating’ Le Morne Crystal Rock in Mauritius, the geothermal baths in Iceland, and the Dolomites mountain range in Italy.
Unsurprisingly, Cartwell and Dirnberger also stated that their camera was their number one travel essential.
The pair did note that parts of their trip were far from glamourous, especially regarding some of the jobs they’ve had to do to fund their travels. However, they do not have a return date as of yet, so the trials and tribulations definitely seem to be worth the experiences they have collected along the way.
