One in Four Winter Sports Enthusiasts Travel Uninsured

According to recent research by the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII), 9% of their 4,000 respondents had purchased travel insurance but not cover for winter sports, 10% were unsure if they had cover for winter activities and a further 9% had not purchased insurance for their most recent trip. Unfortunately this is a growing trend amongst consumers, which leaves them to potentially astronomical bills if they face a holiday disaster.
