X Games, Aspen

The XG is an Extreme Winter Sports festival and is hosted in Aspen, Colorado in January from the 25^th-28^th.

It is also in Minneapolis from 13^th-16^th July and Sydney from 19^th-21^st October.

What’s going on?

There will be plenty of competitions to watch including Snow Bike cross, Ski Slopestyle and Freestyle.

There is also a main stage with music coming from acts such as Marshmello and Martin Garrix.

Tickets.

They have many options available ranging from $375-$625 for day passes and $1,888 for a four-day platinum ticket which gets you into the sports and music events all festival long.

If music is your thing and you aren’t fussed about the sports, you can get tickets from $250-$350 for day passes with the four-day pass coming in at $1,000.

Getting there and staying.

The XGames have accommodation packages ranging from $5,485-$8,099 for a single and $3,289-$5,109 for a double room. These prices include a multitude of extras, including your tickets for the event and lift passes.

If you are all about the music, there is an option for you too, ranging from $739 for a Quad to $1,649 to a single.

For flights, you are probably better off looking into this yourself as the number given is only a US number.

Remember to ensure you have travel insurance for your trip, which includes cover for Wintersports if you are aiming to have a go on the slopes.
