The Backpacker policy provides ideal travel insurance cover for students going on gap year trips either in Europe or further afield. As backpacking travellers usually travel light and want to keep the costs down the cover has been tailored to suit, providing a no frills, good value travel insurance whilst maintaining the necessary holiday medical and repatriation cover. The Backpacker travel insurance policy can provide rates for both European travel insurance and Worldwide travel insurance.
The Longstay travel insurance policy provides wider cover, cover very similar to a single-trip travel insurance policy. This cover is more suited to the traveller who is taking an extended holiday or leisure break. This policy can also provide rates for both European travel insurance and Worldwide travel insurance.
Longstay Backpacker travel insurance can be arranged for periods of travel from 1 to 18 months. Cover is, however, limited to people under 65 years of age and does not cover cruise holidays. Cover for cruise travel insurance is available on club65.co.uk and cruisesafe.co.uk
